If you are currently using certificates issued by a certificate authority (e.g. PostSignum Czech Mail) rather than a factoring company, you can use these certificates to log into the eFactoring application. To log in, proceed as described in the following sections.
The external certificate must meet the following conditions:

The certificate is issued by a certification authority which is supported in the eFactoring system.

Access to the (private) certificate key is protected by a password.

It is a qualified certificate.
When creating a request for an external certificate, this protection method is often called Strong Private Key Protection. If you select this option, you will always be asked to confirm the action by entering your password upon using the private key. If you want to protect the login into the eFactoring system by a user password, it is necessary to protect the access to the private key by a password.
