I Cannot Log into the Application Using a Certificate from the Factoring Company

If you cannot log into the application using a certificate issued by the factoring company, it could stem from one of the following problems:

  1. An incorrect certificate password was entered. Check that the CapsLock key is enabled and that you are correctly entering lower and upper case letters into the password. If you forget the certificate password, you need to enter a new certificate using a Certificate Request. A detailed description of creating a certificate request can be found in the section Personal Certificate File Request.

  2. The certificate validity has expired. Contact the certificate issuer in order to renew it.

  3. The certificate was signed by an unknown issuer. The certificate was not issued by a certification authority of the factoring company. Enter a new certificate by means of Certificate Requests. A detailed description of creating a certificate request can be found in the section Personal Certificate File Request.

  4. You have difficulties creating a file with personal certificates. If, for example, you cannot create private and public keys on the screen to where you should move with the mouse, the Java Runtime Environment 1.5 (which you can find on the Documents and Programs to Download page) is not installed.
