Technical Preconditions for Operation

Recommended hardware configuration:

  • Celeron 2 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM and higher, 20GB disk, network interface controller, 17“ monitor, keyboard, mouse.

Minimum hardware configuration:

  • Celeron 600 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM and higher, 10GB disk, network interface controller, 15“ monitor (1024x768 resolution), keyboard, mouse.

Software configuration:

  • The following is installed at the station:

    • OS Windows 2000

    • Windows XP

    • Windows Vista

    • Windows7

  • The station has an Internet connection.

  • The following browser is installed at the station as standard:

    • Internet Explorer 5.5

    • Internet Explorer 6

    • Internet Explorer 7

    • Internet Explorer 8

  • Java RunTime Environment version 1.5. or 1.6 is installed at the station.

  • The JACOB.DLL library is available at the station. It is copied in the system PATH directory (e.g. C:\WINDOWS\System32\ ), otherwise the External Certificate Login functionality cannot be used.

  • The CAPICOM.DLL library is available at the station. It is copied and installed in the system PATH directory (e.g. C:\WINDOWS\System32\ ), otherwise the External Certificate Login functionality cannot be used.

If the user is using a 64bit browser platform (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox), then it is necessary that the 64-bit Java version (JRE) is installed.

If the user is using a 64bit platform of the Windows operating system, then it is recommended that the 64-bit Java version installed as well.

Note

eFactoring works on Internet Explorer 32bit on a 64bit OS platform, while in Mozilla Firefox 32bit, eFactoring does not work on the 64bit OS platform.

The text of an error report changes depending on the OS platform and the browser platform detection; an error report is displayed when Java installation is detected on the user work station.
