Changing a PIN for a Blocking

If you wish to change the PIN designated for a certificate blocking, select the Change PIN command for blocking from the Certificates menu.

The dialog contains three items:

New PIN – masked field for entering a PIN that meets the PIN criteria.
Confirm new PIN – a masked field to check the entry.
Email Address – an email is sent to the user each time the PIN is changed (and this even as part of the primary PIN setup).

Using the PIN button you can display the current PIN set in the system.

The new password must fulfill the following conditions:

it must consist of at least 5 numbers,
it must only contain numbers.

Tip

After the user logs in, a check is made for the PIN setting - if the PIN is empty, PIN setup will be forced via a dialog. Until a new PIN value is set, you will not be able to work with the system (the system menu is not displayed at this point, the only way to end work is to close the browser window).
