The system maintains a high level of security. Data is primarily protected by being saved in the Oracle database server that requires the authentication of access rights via a user name and password. Remote user communication with the system is ciphered.

Individual users have assigned access rights for specific system functions or they are classified into user roles with access authorization. A user cannot use the application without the corresponding access rights and cannot log into the application externally.

All active operations (e.g. invoice entry) must be signed using the user key.
