Name Conventions

The file names are six to eight characters long and basic information concerning creation and the contained data type is encoded there. The extension is always DAT.

The name convention is mmddSXnn.DAT

Where:

  • MM – the file creation month from the <01 – 12> interval

  • DD – the file creation day from the <01 – 31> interval

  • S – is the source (F – factoring company)

  • X – file type (A – advice notes, F – invoices, P – commission, etc.)

  • nn—an optional two-digit accession number of the import should multiple transfers occur during the day from the <01—99> interval

for example:

  • 0712FA.DAT – advice notes from the factoring company for the supplier from 12.7

  • 1212FF.DAT – records of purchase invoice processing from the factoring company to the supplier from 12.12

  • 0208FF01.DAT – records of purchase invoice processing from the factoring company to the supplier from 8.2

  • 0208FF02.DAT – records of purchase invoice processing from the factoring company to the supplier from 8.2
